Victoria Gotham brings over two decades of professional theatre experience to the Defy Gravity team, offering students a rare combination of industry insight and high-level coaching. A graduate of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Victoria has built a career centred around both performance and education, with a strong reputation for developing confident, capable performers.
Following her professional training, Victoria went on to establish her own performing arts school, successfully guiding students into professional roles within the industry. Her teaching approach is results-driven yet engaging, focused on unlocking each student’s potential while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable learning environment.
Victoria specialises in LAMDA tuition, with a proven track record of students consistently achieving Distinctions in graded examinations. Her sessions are designed not only to improve technical ability but also to build confidence, communication skills, and stage presence—key qualities that benefit students both on and off the stage.
Alongside her teaching, Victoria remains active within the industry as a professional singer and actress, working across film and theatre. This ongoing experience ensures her coaching remains current, relevant, and aligned with real-world performance standards.
