Defy Gravity is led by Laura, Founder & CEO, whose career spans professional performance, choreography, and education.
With experience across UK theatre tours, cruise lines, and commercial work, alongside her role as an associate lecturer and school programme leader, Laura brings a unique blend of real-world industry experience and academic expertise into the studio.
Her vision has always been to create a dance school that offers both professional-level training and a supportive community, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
From first classes to professional training pathways, we’ve supported hundreds of dancers in building confidence, achieving exam success, and performing on stage.
