Laura Grecian

Laura Grecian is a highly experienced dance professional, combining a strong academic foundation with an extensive performance and teaching career. She holds a Classical Ballet diploma and is a fully qualified fitness and exercise-to-music instructor, bringing both technical precision and a deep understanding of movement to her work.

Laura began her career as a professional dancer, performing across a wide range of platforms including UK theatre tours, pantomime productions, international contracts with Princess Cruises, and appearances in music videos. This diverse performance background has shaped her versatile teaching style and creative approach to choreography.

Transitioning into education and choreography, Laura has built a respected career developing dancers of all ages and abilities. She is currently an Associate Lecturer within the Drama Department at Staffordshire University, where she contributes to the development of emerging performers. Alongside this, she leads the dance programme at Newcastle-under-Lyme School, where she plays a key role in nurturing young talent and building structured, high-quality training pathways.

Since 2012, Laura has also worked as a choreographer with Imagine Theatre Ltd, creating dynamic, engaging productions and bringing professional-level performance standards to the stage year after year.

With a passion for both performance and education, Laura continues to inspire the next generation of dancers through her expertise, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
