Defy Gravity is incredibly proud to welcome Chloe McDonald back to the studio, where her journey first began. Having grown up training and performing within Defy Gravity, Chloe progressed from local productions into full-time vocational training at the age of 16, going on to graduate from Dancebox Studios and Theatreworks.
Chloe has since built an impressive professional career, performing across the UK and internationally. Her experience spans large-scale tours, cruise contracts, theatre productions, and commercial events, giving her a well-rounded and highly credible industry background.
Her professional credits include performances on the Wickedly Ariana UK Tour (2025) and international work with Serendipity Castings in Morocco (2024). She has also worked as a Production Dancer for both MSC Cruises and Marella Cruises, performing to global audiences at sea.
In theatre, Chloe has held key roles including Resident Ensemble member and Dance Captain at The Victoria Theatre, Halifax, working with Imagine Theatre. Her commercial experience includes performances at ExCeL London Arena and corporate events for Heart FM.
Despite a busy professional career that has taken her around the world, Chloe remains passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation. At Defy Gravity, she brings industry-level standards, real-world insight, and infectious energy into every class—helping students develop the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed in dance.
