Amelia’s journey with dance began at Defy Gravity, where the studio quickly became a second home. Progressing from her very first Ballet exams through to Vocational level, she developed not only strong technical ability but also the confidence, discipline, and resilience that define her as a performer today.
Throughout her training, Amelia has gained valuable stage experience, performing in a range of professional productions across regional theatres. These opportunities have helped shape her performance quality and deepen her understanding of the industry.
Committed to building a career in the performing arts, Amelia completed a BTEC Extended National Diploma at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG). She is currently completing her BA (Hons) degree at the prestigious Addict Dance Academy, further refining her skills and expanding her professional knowledge.
Despite a demanding training schedule, Amelia returns to Defy Gravity every weekend as a Teaching Assistant. Her passion lies in supporting and inspiring the next generation of dancers, giving back to the studio that played such a pivotal role in her own development.
